2017

The 63rd Annual Meeting of the Illinois Mosquito and Vector Control Association (IMVCA) was held in Springfield Illinois.  We had an extraordinary turnout! Thank you for your participation in making this one of the best meetings we’ve had in recent years.

The IMVCA also held its Henry Lawicki Student/Intern Competition on November 17th.  Ten graduate and undergraduate students participated from Michigan State University, University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign, University of Wisconsin / Madison, Western Illinois University / Macomb, and Illinois State university / Normal.  Judges awarded three students with cash prizes: Kate Evans (First Prize – $300), Logan Sauers(Runner Up – $100), and Erin McGlynn (Runner Up – $100).  The remaining students received Honorable Mentions and were presented framed mosquito prints photographed by Alex Wild.

Please enjoy the following photos from this year’s meeting.  See you in Bloomington in 2018!
